For over 18 years, Insight Coaching Group has been the trusted partner for Uganda's most ambitious organisations. Here's the story behind the firm and the people who make it exceptional.
Insight Coaching Group Ltd was established in 2008 by Dr. Samuel Kiggundu and a team of seasoned business professionals who recognised a critical gap: Uganda's businesses needed world-class consulting support that genuinely understood the local context — not generic Western frameworks applied without adaptation.
Starting from a modest office on Lumumba Avenue, we built our reputation one client at a time — through rigorous analysis, honest advice, and a relentless commitment to implementation. Our first client was a mid-sized manufacturing company in Jinja struggling with operational inefficiencies. Within six months of our engagement, their throughput increased by 28% and they expanded their workforce by 45 people.
"We didn't build a consulting firm. We built a trusted partner for Ugandan businesses — one that speaks the language of both global strategy and local reality."
Today, Insight Coaching Group serves over 350 clients across 12 countries, with a team of 34 consultants, coaches, and support staff. Our work spans manufacturing, financial services, agriculture, healthcare, technology, government, and the non-profit sector.
Everything we do — from the advice we give to the relationships we build — is anchored in these core values.
We tell our clients the truth, even when it's uncomfortable. Our advice is always in the client's best interest — never driven by scope expansion or upselling opportunities.
We don't just solve today's problems. We build the internal capacity so that organisations can sustain their growth long after our engagement ends.
Our best work happens when we're treated as trusted insiders, not external vendors. We invest deeply in understanding each client's unique context, culture, and aspirations.
We believe Africa's businesses can — and must — compete at the highest global standards. We hold our work, and our clients' ambitions, to that standard every day.
Our consultants are perpetual students of business, leadership, and strategy. We invest significantly in our team's development so they bring the freshest thinking to every engagement.
We believe that economic growth must be broadly shared. Our work prioritises solutions that create jobs, develop local talent, and contribute to Uganda's broader development goals.
